I was thinking about the prompt Five things Daniel did to make Sam stop chasing Jack over at sg1_five_things. I've been thinking of it as a Jack/Daniel prompt because I'm a slasher. But it really could be a Sam/Daniel prompt; it doesn't actually specify why Daniel's trying to make Sam stop. It could also be friendship (either pair) rather than shippy. Just a thought for anyone who was considering participating. I kind of want to try it that way. You all know how I love to be original with my prompt usage. But I think it would take more brain power than I can currently spare. Why did I decide to take on four holiday exchanges?

Hey, maybe Jacob asked Daniel to do him a favor! :-)

Or maybe Daniel just has a lot of money in the SGC betting pool that says Jack and Sam will never get together. ;-)
