Samurai Live Reaction
Feb. 8th, 2011 08:02 pmJust now watching the first episode, so I thought I'd record my thoughts as I go and then go read all those other reaction posts. :)

All in all, I liked it. I didn't adore it, and I wish we could have started at the beginning. I feel like the only one I really know is Mike. In fact, his is the only name I remember. In other seasons our first impressions of a character might have been one dimensional (Ethan's a computer nerd, Nick likes motorcycles, Sky is anal) but at least we had a first impression of everyone by the end of the first episode.
Early days though and my DVR is set to ride out the series. Go, go power rangers. :)
ETA - I love that everyone else's reaction posts are filled with race issues and gender issues and special effects. Whereas I'm concerned with color coding outfits. :)
