True Colors. Dean/Castiel, Michael. PG. 6200 words. Dean is rather abruptly forced into a situation he hadn’t expected, and comes to some startling realizations because of it.
It's a bonding fic, and it's intensely beautiful. Character voices are spot-on. The language is gorgeous. Morgan makes you feel what Dean is feeling - uncertainty, connection, joy, doubt, love. The ending is as perfect as the rest of the fic. And as a bonus - there's a tantalizing hint of a tragedy in Gabriel's past that I'd love to see explored further.
