Need more advice!

Got my shiny new Kindle! Just in time for my trip up to Iowa. Now, how the heck do I get fanfiction on it? I thought there was an easy way via AO3 but I've been unable to figure it out so far.
Help (again) please. :)
I love fandom.

Date: 2013-03-20 01:49 am (UTC)I know there's a more efficient way to do this, but here's how I do it from AO3.
Go to the fic itself.
Find the download tab.
Click on the format you want. (I think it's mobi for a Kindle, but a PDF should work for any e-reader.)
Save the file where you want it on your computer.
Hook up your Kindle to your computer.
Upload your file.
Good luck!

Date: 2013-03-20 02:30 am (UTC)Go to search and type in Archive of Our Own and then use move over to search google.
Take yourself to AO3 and then do the above...it is mobi for Kindle
I find that it helps to have an idea of what I want to download mostly by author's name before I go on the site with kindle because kindle moves slower and that way I can use the search option on a03. Also a good idea to make sure the fic isn't locked, because if it is you have to sign into your ao3 account to even be able to see the fic to be able to download it.
